WELCOME TO KM Moulavi School

KM Moulavi Memorial orphanage Arabic College was established in 1971 under Tirurangadi Yatheem Khana. It is one of the sister Institutions among the nine other Institutions run by Tirurangadi Muslim Orphanage committee which played a pivotal role to provide a safe asylum for orphans especially In the breakdown of cholera in Malabar region in 1943 under the leadership of great philanthropist MK Haji. Khatib Tayyil Muhammed Kutty Musliar, popularly known as KM Moulavi, a religious scholar in whose name the college established was a pioneer in prompting modern education. The ultimate goal established by these visionary luminaries were the upliftment of backward communities with a blend of progress, secularity and moral ethos. The college has a sound state of art Infrastructure, smart classroom and a well established library. The college has been affiliated to University of Calicut since 2010. At present the college offers a two year Intermediate course Afzal Ul Ulama Preliminary equivalent to plus two humanities and BA Afzal Ul Ulama in Arabic Language and Literature as of FYUGP programme.

Besides boosting skill in Arabic language, activities cum mentorship for fostering English communication skills and IT have been given due emphasis. The students are provided with curricular and co-curricular activities for their harmonious development. The college PTA and Alumni have a good rapport in the development of the college. The college is proud of Its Alumni who are placed in prestigious positions home and abroad. Mr. MK Bava, S/O late MK Haji is currently serving as the manager of the college. Mr. Abdussalam Allippara is the principal. The college is situated at Saudabad, Tirurangadi.
