Afzal Ul Ulama Preliminary is an entry-level program focused on Arabic basics and Islamic principles. It prepares students for higher studies in language and religion. The course is supported by smart class facilities, digital learning through I.T. labs, and access to a well-equipped library.
BA Afzal Ul Ulama in Arabic is a comprehensive course that builds strong foundations in Arabic language and literature. Students gain knowledge in classical and modern texts through practical and academic training. KM Moulavi Memorial orphanage Arabic College was established in 1971 under Tirurangadi Yatheem Khana. It is one of the sister Institutions among the nine other Institutions run by Tirurangadi Muslim Orphanage committee which played a pivotal role to provide a safe asylum for orphans especially In the breakdown of cholera in Malabar region in 1943 under the leadership of great philanthropist MK Haji. Khatib Tayyil Muhammed Kutty Musliar, popularly known as KM Moulavi, a religious scholar in whose name the college established was a pioneer in prompting modern education.
The ultimate goal established by these visionary luminaries were the upliftment of backward communitieswith a blend of progress, secularity and moral ethos.The college has a sound state of art Infrastructure, smart classroom and a well established library. The college has been affiliated to University of Calicut since 2010.
At present the college offers a two year Intermediate course AfzalUl Ulama Preliminaryequivalent to plus two humanitiesand BA Afzal Ul Ulama in Arabic Language and Literature as of FYUGP programme.Besides boosting skill in Arabic language, activities cum mentorship for fostering English communication skills and IT have been given due emphasis.
